Who Are the Richest Kids in the World?

By

Some are self-made millionaires, some were born into their wealth and others won their money. However they came by it, all of these children are among the wealthiest kids in the world. It’s difficult to estimate who is the richest of these kids, given their potential earnings and some of their family fortunes, so in no particular order, here are the children who are going to have no problem taking care of their parents when they’re old:

Emma Watson – aka Hermione Granger – our favorite Muggle-born witch from the Harry Potter film series (based on J.K. Rowling’s books), is only 19 years old and has managed to put away $33 million in the bank, thanks to starring in every Harry Potter film since the age of 11. Not just a pretty face, Watson recently enrolled as an English Literature major at Brown University, and clearly isn’t goMiley Cyrusing to have any trouble paying her Ivy League tuition fees. Her co-star Daniel Radcliffe, who plays the eponymous Harry Potter, is estimated to be worth around $50 million.

Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas – aka the Jonas Brothers – are a boy band pop sensation and Disney Channel darlings. They have earned over $12 million and sold over eight million albums worldwide. Their future remains secure, as long as they keep living their clean lifestyle and rolling out those Jonas Brothers hit albums along the lines of their first two: “A Little Bit Longer” and “Lines, Vines, and Trying Times.”

Miley Cyrus is one of the richest kids in the world!
Seventeen-year-old singing and acting sensation Miley Cyrus – aka Hannah Montana – is raking in the cash. The daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus of “Achy Breaky Heart” fame has managed to fuel her singing and acting career into a bona fide empire and is set to be a billionaire by the time she turns 18. Estimates put her wealth currently at $60 million.
You may not have heard of 18-year-old India Rose James, but she is the granddaughter of the late Soho pornography tycoon and property magnate Paul Raymond, who left half his fortune to India and her half-sister, Fawn. The family empire is worth $770 million and the sisters’ share of the wealth is said to be $185 million.
Child actor Dakota Fanning, age 16, has appeared in more movies than years she has lived on the planet. Her filmography includes “War of the Worlds” with Tom Cruise, “My Name is Sam” with Sean Penn, and “Charlotte’s Webb” with Julia Roberts. She has been earning $4 million per film since she was 13.
Other pint size performers who are raking in the dough are 13-year-old Abigail Breslin, best known for her Academy-award nominated performance as an extremely a-typical pageant kid in “Little Miss Sunshine,” and who has held her own against the likes of Alan Arkin and Jodie Foster. She earned $1.5 million alone for “Little Miss Sunshine” and now commands $3 million per movie.
19-year-old Lanthe Fullagar of Cumbria in the UK won her fortune at just 18, when she became the youngest ever player to win the EuroMillions national lottery. Her total winnings came out to just under $11 million. Not bad for a $7.50 lottery ticket.
