Osun State Governor, Mr Rauf Aregbesola has appointed Mr Semiu Okanlawo as the Special Advice on Information.
It was gathered that the Governor decided to move Okanlawon to the Ministry of Information to strengthen the ministry and make it efficient.
Until his new appointment, Okanlawon was the Director of the Bureau of Communication and Strategy in the Office of the Governor in Osogbo.
With the new development, Okanlawon's Deputy in the Bureau, Mr Sola Fasure would now take over the positoon of the Director and speak for the Governor while Okanlawon would be speaking for the state government.
A source in the government said the restructure became necessary to fortify the ministry of information to function well.
