A former governor of Osun State, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola has described the death of Senator Isiaka Adeleke as a monumental loss which has made the state and the country poorer.
In a statement issued in Osogbo on Sunday, Prince Oyinlola who said he was on his way to Osogbo from Lagos when the news was broken to him noted that he was still in shock.
He described Adeleke as a brother, friend and confidant whose demise had made him, the state and the political class in Nigeria poorer.
Prince Oyinlola who stressed that he still found it difficult to come to terms with the reality of the death of the first Executive Governor of Osun state prayed that God would console the family, Edeland, his associates and friends, Osun state and the country.
He prayed God to grant his soul eternal peace.
