Greatest Nakssites and articulate Nakssites with extention to over forty millions Nigerian students home and at diaspora, it is highly pivotal and pertinent at this critical stage to clear the atmosphere of the ongoing corruption and falsification of assets trial against one of our own in kwara, Sen (Dr) Bukola Saraki. This is as a result of the doggedness of the National Association of Kwara State Students (Nakss) and firmness to the well being of all Kwarans in respective of the class the individual belongs ( while Dr Saraki is not an exclusion)
For historical clarification, it must be noted that, Nakss is the most radical and populous Union in Kwara State with over one million two hundred thousand members and remains undauntedly the voice of the voiceless and the fighter of the hopeless. We were built and mounted on the principle of fighting for all in respective of your status and class. Dr Bukola Saraki's trial since inception has been given a critical attention by the National body of Nakss because we described it as A TEST OF OUR INTEGRITY AND OUR TRUST TO DEFEND KWARA INDIGENES IN RESPECTIVE OF THE POWER THAT STANDS TALL AGAINST OUR OWN SON/DAUGHTER.
OUR STAND
it is no more a news that over hundred members of our prestigious indigenous association were on solidarity move for one of us in Abuja on Friday. This along is to send a signal that we want justice for Sen. Bukola Saraki. After we analyse the situation holistically and critically, we discover that the trial is a totally and absolutely political vendetta . Our concerns are, why is this to our own kwara person ? Why is this coming when we are in the position to defend our people and Kwara People entirely ?
It should be known that all Nigeria, in respective of any personal grudges between you and the person of Senator Saraki, your judgement should not base on personal grudges. It baffles us that some few political coup plotters who belief that they own Nigeria are playing on intelligence of over one hundred and eighty million Nigerians because of their personal and selfish interest. They have begun on a mission to prosecute the person of Bukola Saraki because he stood on a course he believed. It must be cleared that, there is no where in our constitution that stop anybody not contest for the office of Senate President inasmuch you are a senator. There is need for us to save this country from this few oligarchy who belief their political decision is irrevocable and their anointed candidate must emerge even if it against the will of people. We still want to make it clear that, Saraki emergence is as a result of the love the senators have for him. We still also need to say that, the candidate of these people also loose woefully when Saraki democratically appointed the Senate leader which seen to the emergence of Senator Ndume. Our question, should Saraki abandon democracy for "selectocracy" ? Should Saraki change his principle of People first because he wants to satisfy the civil coup plotters ? Should saraki display cowardice not to protect our hard earn democracy ?
LESSON
Dr. Saraki has given hope to Nigerian youths that you have to belief in yourself and your wish can still be achievable. Greatest Nakssites, we want to assert that many people are victims of "step aside politics". Our question, are we still practising democracy ? We in Nakss, we belief in justice and we will definitely defend the freedom of Nigerian people even if it will cause our blood. Politics is all about people and people choice should emerged. Saraki symbolises freedom of step aside politics and A LESSON FOR ALL YOUTHS THAT IF SARAKI CAN SUCCEED, YOU CAN ALSO SUCCEED POLITICALLY WITHOUT LOYALTY TO SOME PEOPLE AGAINST THE WILL OF MASSES .
THE CONCEPT KWARAPTION, A SLAM TO GENERALITY OF KWARA PEOPLE.
The ongoing ,media campaign against saraki has been taken a new direction and be aiming at crucifying the entirety of kwara people. This is an action we strongly condemn are warn all those people behind this campaign of calumny against us and our people. This has given us a clear confirmation that these people are aim at pulling all kwara people down as against what they are publicly declaring. We wonder why people will come with such heinous concept to defame the whole state because of a case of an individual who have not even be indicted by competent court of jurisdiction. Aside that, their claim is inductively weak, it is also unsounded argument. Why will you put the whole state in mess because of an individual ? We should ask this angel of michievious and malicious campaign against our state, where Barr. Rotimi Jacob, the head of prosecuting council comes from. Aside that, we have many individuals who come from Kwara State that have served this nation and yet they were never indicted for once throughout their service of this nation. WHY KWARAPTION ? As we are built on defending our people, we will never tolerate such from anybody. We have seen many cases of individuals that have been indicted of corruption even home and abroad yet their state is not dragged to the mess. We hereby warn anybody who is orchestrating this dubious act to desist from it with immediate effect or ready to face the consequence in court of law.
The implication of this is that, many kwara people may fall victim of this in their various places of work. This may lead to suspicious relationship and lack of trust in our people in place of their life endeavor. We can not fold our hands while our people will be treating with highest level of stigmatisation. However, we urge kwara people to rekindle their act of patriotism and be law abiding citizen till almighty God save us from this political prosecution.
More so, we appreciate our leader comrade Kolawole politically address as uncle who has been seen to moderation among kwara students and Nigeria students as a whole. This has been the reason while students still remain calm despite all happenings that is not well with us.
Furthermore, we (at the National Nakss) promise to continue pushing pro-students position in the interest of students and general kwara people. More so, we wl do everything to defend the image of our state in which founding father toyed for rigorously. We will diplomatically fight for the academic and social welfare of our member as this duo can never be compromised in guise of any. We pray almighty God be with us at we are paddling the affair of the union inline with path of dignity and integrity.
