Crisis: Osun PDP move to unite aggrieved members

The Osun State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has begun reconciliatory moves to unite aggrieved members. 

The State Chairman of the party, Honourable 'Soji Adagunodo, said this while fielding questions from journalists in his office.

Adagunodo said, in a bid to ensure that all aggrieved members come to a round table for discussion, the party has already called for a stakeholders meeting which urged all warring members to sheathe their swords.

According to him, the aim of the parley was geared at resolving the crisis that has bedeviled the party.

He said, "We are not having crisis in PDP, what is happening is not a new thing, it is in APC  and other parties as well,  it's just a family affairs and am happy to say that we are now one under one umbrella".

Adagunodo, however commended the  efforts by the party's leadership in the State and outside in their bid to reconcile and address the grievances of the aggrieved parties in the aftermath of the recent primaries and calls on both the leadership and the aggrieved parties to endeavor and substantively resolve their differences in the interests of peace and advancement of the party.

The Osun PDP Chairman who has embarked on a thank you tour of all the local government areas charged people of the State to demonstrate their support and cooperation to the party.

Adagunodo used the medium to felicitates with all Muslim members of the party in the state on the Idel-Kabir festival coming up on Monday.
