BBNaija: Housemates Discuss Sex On Stage
Miracle, current Head of House
Housemates in the BBNaija `Double Wahala' reality show, have advocated for responsible parenthood and safe sex especially among youths.
The housemates used the week's 50 per cent wager task to create awareness for responsible parenting and safer sex.
Big brother also ensured that the pairs played roles as parents to baby dolls and also made them deliver a poem, a song and talk show as part of the task.
The theme of the week is, "Responsible adults" and "Safe sex".
Big brother (Biggie) used the initiative to test the housemates' ability to look after toddlers and also as a means of promoting responsibility and awareness of safer sex.
Biggie delivered baby dolls to pairs in the house and tasked them to look after the dolls like real babies.
He instructed the housemates to remember to change their diapers, feed them at all times and never leave them unattended to.
Some housemates took on the challenge bravely, while others were unimpressed by this task.
The pair of Ahneeka and Angel sang a lullaby for their "baby" just before bedtime, while Teddy A had his baby under control as he cradled his "new born" in bed and promised it stardom.
Anto however was not having fun with her triplets as she was left to look after them alone after Miracle left her to tuck his former partner Nina into bed.
Biggie later set the housemates free from unplanned parenthood and introduced the second part of the week's theme, safe sex.
He told the housemates to put on their creative skills to come up with a poem, a song and a talk show to promote and create awareness for safer and protected sex.
Housemates then decided to split themselves into three groups consisting of poets, singers and motivational speakers.
The first group was made up of Tobi, Anto, Lolu, Angel and Miracle who were made to give inspirational talks to shed more light on the myths and realities surrounding sex education.
Ricco, Cee C, Nina, Teddy and Bam Bam took on different verses to produce a song titled "plan em well".
The song was made to remind people to plan well before taking actions.
Ifu Ennada, Alex and Leo formed a poem for the cause, while Ahneeka hosted the show.
Lolu who is widely regarded as the smartest in the house, made a strong point during the presentation.
He was of the view that, "Today's realities depict abstinence as taboo and unfashionable. Remember, safe sexual practices are an individual decision and the benefits are lifelong.''
The current Head of House, Miracle highlighted the fact that faithfulness is ideal however, but added, "That is not entirely everyone's reality so, safety is key. No glove no love".
In spite of lack of full participation, the housemates won their 50 per cent wager.
