University of Nigeria Chancellorship; Omoworare Congratulates Ooni of Ife
The Senator representing Osun East and Chairman Senate Committee on Rules and Business, Senator Babajide Omoworare has congratulated the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi (Ojaja II) on his appointment as the Chancellor of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN). The Senator stated this in a statement made available to the press by his Media Assistant, Tunde Dairo.
"On behalf the sons and daughters of Ile-Ife and the good people of Osun East, I congratulate His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi (Ojaja II) as he becomes the Chancellor of the Prestigious University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN)" Senator Babajide Omoworare said.
"Kabiyesi, the nation has given you this responsibility to tap from your wealth of experience and wisdom as a traditional ruler of repute, successful administrator and a respectable father of the Nation and I have absolute confidence in your capacity to turn the institution around during your tenure" Omoworare said.
The Senator further said that the drive of Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi towards uniting and developing the Yoruba race will be extended to the entire Nation with this new responsibility and in no distant time the result will manifest.
Senator Omoworare thanked President Mohamadu Buhari, the Federal Government of Nigeria and Nigerians for honouring the Ooni of Ife with this enormous responsibility that requires absolute trust and confidence.
"It is my prayer that you will live long to discharge greater responsibility to Ile-Ife, State of Osun, Nigeria and humanity. The Almighty God will work and walk with you as you succeed in all you do. I wish you a very purposeful and productive tenure of office" Omoworare said.
