Kwara Gov canvasses vote for Buhari

Kwara State Governor, Dr Abdulfatah Ahmed has urged Nigerians to vote for the All Progressives Congress Presidential candidate in the March 28 presidential election, General Muhammadu Buhari for growth and monumental development of the country.
Governor Ahmed made the appeal in the course of the APC campaign for the forthcoming elections in Kaiama local government area of the State, stressing that a Muhammadu Buhari administration will ensure national security and dignity.
Dr Ahmed, who is also the APC gubernatorial candidate in Kwara State said if re-elected, his administration will deepen the infrastructural development of the State.
The Governor said his administration has been able to sustain regular payment of salaries of civil servants and other categories of workers in appreciation of their importance and worthy contributions to the state development despite the continuous shortfall in the fiscal
allocation from the federation account.
Governor Ahmed recalled that apart from over 3,000 recruited into the civil service by his administration, youth entrepreneurship development scheme is creating a new generation of entrepreneurs in the State.
At the Emir of Kaiama's palace, Alhaji Muazu Shehu Omar, the governor said his administration has fulfilled his campaign promises to the people of the area through upscaling of the general hospital in the town and improvement of water supply among others.
The Emir, Alhaji Mu'azu Shehu Omar commended Governor Ahmed for his administration's developmental initiatives on the emirate especially the on-going construction of long abandoned federal road, Kaiama-Kishi road.
