Palestine, Israel crises worry Nigerian Muslims

Muslims in Nigeria have expressed concern 0ver the crises between Palestinian Hamas and Israel over Gaza.
They lamented that no lasting solution had been provided despite the fact that thousands of lives had been lost with several others injured.
The Muslims spoke during a press conference and symposium, organised by Muslim Awareness International, to seek enduring peace to Israel-Palestine crises.
One of them, the President Muslim Students' Society of Nigeria, Lagos State Area Unit, Alhaji Kaamil Kalejaiye urged world leaders to 'sincerely' intervene with the aim of resolving the crises.
He appealed that the actions of Catholic Bolivia, Venezuela, Argentina, and Ecuador should be emulated to end the crises.
He said, "I must warn us all that Palestine is of paramount concern to all the over two billion Muslims of the world, and not just the people of Gaza. Indeed, recent happenings in Gaza have internationalised the Palestinian struggle, breaking barriers of religion, ideology, and race.
"Just few days ago, the Palestinian Solidarity Campaign UK mobilised a whopping 150, 000 people in the United Kingdom against the killings. Other world leaders should emulate Catholic Bolivia, Venezuela, Argentina, and Ecuador actions for truth and peace."
He, however, challenged youths all over the world to learn from the ongoing crises, urging them to pray for peace in regions affected by conflict.
He added, "Pray fervently for the people of Gaza, and the whole of the Muslim world. Seek correct and true information about Muslims globally. Defend peace vigorously in your capacity by broadcasting, sharing and uploading indisputable facts worldwide."
