The OGF, a non-governmental organisation, is organising the competition to increase pupils' interest and promote Mathematics education in Owode-Yewa Council Area of the state.
No fewer than 220 pupils from Yewa council area participated in the contest, which is in its third edition.
The Visioner of the initiative, Mrs. Gbonjubola Odumusi, at the grand finale of the contest, said the target was to empower pupils early in life to overcome all manner of phobia figures.
According to her, pupils can become and achieve whatever they want in life with a good foundation in Mathematics.
Odumusi, an OGF Executive Director added, "The best way to win in life and overcome every obstacle or difficulty is by conquering fear, particularly the fear of Mathematics. Believe in yourself that you can solve any Mathematics problem, do it and hand over the rest to God."
Meanwhile, the Polytechnic Staff College, Ilaro, won the overall best Mathematics school award, while Mr. Joshua Dajok, a teacher in the school, received the best Mathematics teacher award.
