TNS/RMS Collaborates Kantar World Panel for Consumers Research
International companies, TNS RMS and Kantar World Panel have collaborated to form a Consumer Panel to strengthen research on shoppers and customers of products.
The joint Consumers’ Panel will begin to release reports and deliverables under the new innovative platform, Global Business Development Director for ME, Africa and Greece, Mr. Jose Garcia told newsmen.
He said: “The importance of this relevant new development and partnership with TNS RMS in developing Panels in West Africa where also a joint Panel is already running or will be the case of Ghana among others to come soon.
“We strongly believe that by joining the on the ground expertise and markets knowledge of TNS RMS with the specialization of Kanthar World Panel in running Panels around the globe, will help our clients have the best understanding of consumer behaviour with requisite insight necessary for decision making.”
Business Development Director for the Region, Mrs Tina Umunna said the TNS RMS Home panel was launched in 2005 in Nigeria, adding that it was part of a rich heritage of over 30 years of RMS consumer research in Africa.
“The initial report delivered in the Kantar World Panel world class online tool was released last month and has received tremendous accolade from clients. TNS RMS has been in existence for over 33 years and our experience in covering households both in the rural and urban areas with holistic coverage is enough evidence for our standard,” she said.
Chief Executive Officer of TNS RMS, West East and Central Africa, Adeola Tejumola, said the partnership was a strategic decision aimed at giving the companies an edge in the industry.
