Guinness introduces female alcoholic drink
The Guinness Nigeria Plc has launched a flavoured alcoholic drink, SNAPP to specially cater for the feminine gender.
SNAPP is packaged in a 30cl bottle that comes with a gold and green label, which gives it a distinct look of class and style.
The Managing Director and Chief Executive of Guinness Nigeria Plc, Mr. Seni Adetu, who unveiled SNAPP to the audience on Saturday in Lagos, said the drink served as an invitation for the Nigerian women to celebrate their confidence with style.
He said, “SNAPP has been introduced into the ready to drink category in response to the increasing demand for an alcoholic drink that appeals to women who want to show their individuality and unique style when out socialising with friends. This is very much in line with Guinness Nigeria's vision of celebrating life, everyday, everywhere.
“With a great taste and no compromise on quality, SNAPP is a drink that is made with the choicest ingredients to give it a crispy and naturally refreshing taste. It's a first of its kind for women in the alcoholic Ready-To-Drink category and is the perfect choice for the modern, classy woman looking for a feminine and stylish alcoholic beverage.”
The Marketing Director of the company, Mr. Austin Ufomba, noted that it was necessary to identify the Nigerian women with a brand that matches their personality.
He added, “We know that women are rapidly gaining economic power and becoming more independent. Women everywhere are increasingly celebrating their successes in their various fields of endeavour, be it family or at work. In recognition of this, it is only fitting that we provide an equally contemporary and exciting ready to drink brand that suits every taste and occasion – this was the driving force behind the introduction of SNAPP into the Nigerian drinks market.
“Nigerian women want to celebrate with products and brands that match their personality. SNAPP is the perfect choice for the modern, classy woman looking for a feminine and stylish alcoholic drink. In all, we believe we have created a drink that modern women can truly identify with,” he said.
