NAFDAC, SON urge manufacturers to ensure quality

The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Standards Organisation of Nigeria have asked manufacturers in Nigeria to ensure that the quality of their products meet acceptable international standards.
The two bodies spoke at the at the inauguration of Latina, a new product from the stable of La Casera Company on Tuesday in Lagos.
The Acting Director, Registration and Regulatory Affairs, NAFDAC, Mrs. Ogochukwu Mainasara, said manufacturers must take consumers into consideration in their goods production.
She said, “The La Casera Company has created an alternative for consumers after passing through the full tests with the latest machineries. Other manufacturers must follow this path of quality product manufacturing.
The Deputy Director, SON, Mrs. Oluremi Ayeni, added that the La Casera Company was one of the respected companies in the country.
“The company is one of the companies that SON respect, it usually live up to the expectation of the consumer. They give the consumers a choice.”
